This past Saturday, Paradox Beer Company celebrated their 2nd anniversary. With as many people as I have seen in their tasting room, we joined in and tasted and drank some awesome new releases as well as some old favorites! Live music, free food and great beer is always a recipe for success in our book. Throughout the afternoon, many familiar faces popped in to congratulate them and grab some suds. When we arrived, there were a bunch of brewers and beer fans already there. Even Chris and Ross from Pikes Peak Brewing were on hand to help celebrate.
Note: If you’re not aware, Paradox brews their wort at PPBC’s brewhouse and transports it via truck up to their location in Woodland Park. Contrary to popular (or unpopular?) belief, they’re not just buying wort, but using their own recipes and formulations. It’s very similar to the style of gypsy brewing that Evil Twin or Mikkeller does. We’ve heard some questions and wanted to help clear it up.
Paradox Beer Company, in our opinion, with the growth they’ve made in the past year, remains the premier Woodland Park brewery in terms of quality and quantity. These guys are pushing the boundaries of beer, with inventive new formulas and flavor combinations. If you’re going to the Great American Beer Festival, they’ll be pouring on the floor, with some super limited releases at the beginning of each session. Make a bee-line there so you don’t miss out!
Here’s some photos from the afternoon.
