Mike Bristol of Bristol Brewing Company has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Colorado Brewers Guild. Bristol was elected by CBG members to hold the 11th and final open seat on the board. This will be Bristol’s third board term for the CBG.

A native Coloradan, Mike Bristol was born and raised in Ft. Collins and graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. In late 1993, after six years in the corporate world, he and his wife Amanda moved to Colorado Springs and opened Bristol Brewing Company. Bristol Brewing has won many awards for its beers, but Mike is most proud of the brewery’s reputation as a gathering place for locals and a supporter of worthy local causes. He lives, hikes, and mountain bikes in Cheyenne Canon with Amanda, their three sons, and a laughing lab.

Bristol joins Pikes Peak Brewing in representing the Colorado Springs area on the Board of Directors.

The other members of the Board are Eric Wallace (Chair) of Left Hand Brewing, Chris Wright (Vice Chair) of Pikes Peak Brewing, Brad Lincoln (Treasurer) of Funkwerks, Matt Cutter (Secretary) of Upslope Brewing, Brian O’Connell of Renegade Brewing, Kim Jordan of New Belgium Brewing, Tim Meyers of Strange Craft Brewing, Tony Simmons of Pagosa Brewing and Grill, Kristen Muraro of Ska Brewing, and Wynne Odell of Odell Brewing.
